after the earthquake on Tuesday, as I rode through the incredibly congested streets of DC on my bike, I had several people shout to me from their cars “I wish I was riding a bike right now!”
One of my favorite things about biking?

Hangzhou, China (population: 6.77m) has an enormous bike sharing program that includes 50,000 bikes and 2,050 stations. The program is so popular the city plans to expand its fleet to 175,000 bikes by 2020!
